Step-by-Step Instructions for Drawing a Ferret
How to Draw a Great Looking Ferret for Kids, Beginners, and Adults - Step 1
1. Begin by drawing the animal's eyes. Use curved lines to outline the round shapes. Within each eye, shade a large, dark circle. This is the pupil of the eye. Draw curved lines above the eyes to indicate the eyelid and eyebrows. Draw a curved line at the bottom corner of one eye to begin the ferret's nose.

2. Outline the head. Use a long curved line for the top of the head, forehead, and side of the face. Then, use overlapping curved lines to draw the furry cheeks and jaws. In the middle of the face, draw an inverted triangle with rounded corners to form the nose. Below it, draw the "W" shaped mouth. Place curved lines at its corners, below it, and between the mouth and nose.

3. Draw the animal's small ears. Use a curved line for each. Detail the inside of the near ear with curved lines. Then, draw the chest, using overlapping curved lines to give it a furry appearance.

4. Draw the leg using two curved lines. Let them meet in an overlapping fashion, detailing the toes. Then, draw the back of the head, neck, and back. Use overlapping curved lines to achieve a furry appearance.

5. Draw the remaining foreleg. Use two curved lines for the leg, and overlapping curved lines for the toes.
